Kwedini

A Xhosa term for small boy. It is generally used by older men when referring to a younger boy.
It can also be used to refer to an adult male but you need to make sure that you are not scared of that person you call kwedini.


I will moer you, kwedini. Don't disrespect me like that.

Tjotjo

A term used to refer to a bribe, usually given to cops or traffic officers.


I gave him some tjotjo and he let me go.

Shambula

This is a Kasi term for a very attractive lady.

Nothern Sotho word, popular in Limpopo use to describe a beautiful girl.

Used as a racist remark towards black people who behave like Caucasians (White people).  Derived from the coconut fruit - "brown on the outside, white on the inside".
