Xhosa plural for stratagems. It is actually just amatile. Singular is itile. The ti is pronounced like English tea and le as in French. From the Sanskrit kutila which appear in Xhosa as ukutila.


My car broke down on the way, I had to make amatile-tile to get here.

Nomokhwe

Unomokhwe is a Xhosa term for a hoe or whore.


I hope la nomokhwe can rest in agony.

Bafana Maths

Bafana Maths refers to the calculations Bafana Bafana usually does before qualifying for a major tournament. It usually entails “if team A wins, team B draws, and we win by so many goals, then we qualify”
