A quarter loaf of bread hollowed out and filled with combinations of atchar, polony (Bologna), Russian sausages, slap chips, cheese, eggs, chilli sauce and more. A street food / kasi variant of the more suburban bunny chow.


I'm definitely getting myself a kota the next time I visit Gomora.

Masimba

Masimba mean SHIT in South African Zulu and Xhosa languages. I know in Zimbabwe (Shona) it means something different.


Uthetha amasimba.
Translation: You are talking shit

Uyanya

A Xhosa term for 'You are shitting'. It can also mean 'she or he is taking a shit', depending on the context.

O-week

AKA Orientation week or 0-week, Is the first week of University where students are supposed to be orientated but they spend it binge drinking and making bad decisions.
