Nkunzi

Nkunzi is a Xhosa term for a male animal. It is also often used to refer to a person, obviously male.

A Xhosa term for grootman or just a man nje.

North West is an inland South African province that borders Botswana. Its landscape is defined by mountains in the northeast and bushveld scattered with trees and shrubs.

Isloti is a Xhosa slang term for a drinking place (tavern or bar).

Unotshe

Unotshe is a Xhosa interjection that means never or can be used as "over my dead body". It is pronounced as uno-chair.


I will not allow you to marry my daughter. Unotshe!

Also known as SOS - Is a South African rapper who the current king of South African rap. He released his diss track called Ninyile that was dissing the whole SA Hip Hop industry and all these cats have been awfully quiet ever since.


Big Xhosa dissed the whole industry except Big Zulu.

IsiXhosa is a Nguni language that is spoken in South Africa and some parts of Zimbabwe. It is the language with the clicks.

University of South Africa - The biggest University in South Africa in terms of number of students. It is known for its distance learning programmes. Majority of students who go here are not at an actual campus. Covid found them ready.
